Alessandro Carminati recently joined Metelli Group in the role of Business Development Manager OE.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and boasts significant experience in the automotive sector, in particular in the OE channel, where he has worked in a number of key roles for leading companies. He has collaborated closely with leading motorcycle and car manufacturers as well as with producers in the appliance industry to develop original equipment components that have contributed to building skills and generating significant growth. Alessandro Carminati's appointment as Business Development Manager will serve to strengthen Metelli's structure in the OE sales channel, building upon the Group's well-established experience with vehicle and engine parts, which continues to grow thanks to a number of major orders placed by a leading car manufacturer which span the next 3 years. Metelli Group invests constantly in R&D to guarantee innovative solutions for its customers, from both a technological and an environmental protection viewpoint.

One example is the recent allocation of European funds which it received, along with other technological partners, for the development of an innovative water pump. The project is called “Hyper” and it focuses on the research of electrification of water pumps for cooling vehicles fitted with a traditional combustion engine, or hybrid and electric vehicles and their accessory parts such as batteries and power electronics. Metelli will handle the coordination of the whole project, and also contribute its own recognised skills in the field of fluid dynamics and product industrialisation.
